CHEDRO1 conducts outreach program at Home for Girls
CHED RO1 held its annual outreach program dubbed as Panangaro tan Pamaleket (Love and Care) at the Home for the Girls, Agoo, La Union on December 2, 2024.
The activity was a part of the agency’s 18- day campaign to end Violence Against Women (VAW) with the theme, “VAW Bigyang-Wakas, Ngayon na ang Oras!”
CHED RO1 officials distributed hygiene kits and conducted parlor games for the girls.
Engr. Angelica Q. Dolores, Supervising Education Program Specialist, and Ms. Regina Bulatao, Social Welfare Officer and Center Head, rendered their message of support and appreciation to the recipients of the said activity.
Ms. Bulatao shared that some of the girls are victims of violence while some are abandoned or neglected.
Education Supervisors Dr. Ricky Cera, Project Leader and Dr. Al Gerald Barde; Ms. Dianne Joyce Montemayor, Administrative Officer III; Mr. Perfecto Duluena, Administrative Aide; and Project Technical Staff Ms. Ailene Flores and Mr. Kotaro Jncyrl Velasco took part in this year’s outreach activity.
