The CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP) is a competitive scholarship initiative of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) that aims to support academically talented and deserving Filipino students. This program is intended for incoming/current first-year college students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and potential for excellence during their senior high school education.

This is part of the evaluation of the HEI’s compliance with policies, standards, and guidelines on the offering of academic programs and its conversion to university requirements.

HAPPENING NOW | CHED Regional Office I is conducting an on-site liquidation review at AMA Laoag Campus, Laoag, Ilocos Norte, on August 15, 2025, to ensure proper utilization and complete documentation of funds received under the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong-Dunong Program (TDP). UniFAST Regional Coordinator Mr. John Eric Ancheta, works with HEI’s focal person, Mr. Norvil Romero, to verify records and facilitate the timely completion of required documents.
