This esteemed recognition was established through Municipal Ordinance No. 1-2021 by former Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao and was inspired by the Ramon Magsaysay Awards which celebrates exemplary professionals who have demonstrated outstanding talent and distinction in their profession or work and have brought pride and honor to the municipality. The recipients are carefully selected based on their remarkable contributions to a wide range of fields, including agricultural science, arts, culture and humanities, banking business, community development, economics, educational leadership, government service, humanitarian and charity work, journalism and mass communication, law, medicine, military and police service, political and social sciences, sports, engineering, and other areas of expertise.
