TP Visits WCC for evaluation of Program Applications
A team of five (5) experts in aviation and technology served as the Technical Panel during the validation visit conducted at WCC Aeronautical & Technological College, Binalonan, Pangasinan on March 19-20, 2025.
The visit was intended for the evaluation of five aviation and aeronautical program applications of the institution.
The programs evaluated were BS Air Traffic Management, BS Air Cargo Management, BS in Aviation Cyber Security, BS in Aviation Major in Rotary Flying, and BS Aeronautical Engineering Major in Drone.
The programs were evaluated in different areas, covering the institution’s administrative structure, instruction, research, community involvement as well as on the institution’s governance and infrastructure.
The team evaluated the application reports and made ocular visits of the laboratory facilities of the institution. Key personnel of the institution were also interviewed by the team.
The validation team was led by Engr. Benjamin Pablo E. Simbulan and included Dr. Conrado Iñigo Jr., Dr. Roel Sancho, Mr. Ricson Que, and Dr. Kristofer Neal C. Imperial.
Technical support was provided by Engr. Sherwin Revereza and Mr. Jorel Ramirez from the CHED Central Office (DPIC-OPSD), along with Engr. Angelica Dolores and Engr. Leonora Quarte from CHED Regional Office I.
Dr. Roger Martinez Jr., Vice-President for Academic Affairs, led the academic community of the institution in welcoming the validation team.
The team presented the results of the evaluation and gave their recommendations during the exit conference, which was attended by the deans and heads of the programs being applied for.
