ANNOUNCEMENT: Fully-Funded Professional Development Opportunity
The Service Learning for English Teachers is a fully funded, three-day professional development program for pre-service and in-service teachers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Funded by the US Department of State, the training focuses on integrating service learning into English language teaching through student-centered methodologies, cross-cultural engagement, and capacity-building workshops.
Participants will also take part in a field trip designed to provide hands-on experience with service learning in action, allowing them to apply key concepts in real-world settings.
Qualifications:
In-service and pre-service
Eligibility to Apply:
Must be a pre-service teacher OR in-service teacher with less than five years of teaching experience
Be passionate about teaching and advocates for SDG4: Quality Education
Works/studies in any recognized learning institution in the country
Requirements:
Complete the application form
Certification from supervisor/college dean
A 1-minute video explaining how this program will benefit your teaching profession and enhance your instructional practices
Grant Coverage:
Roundtrip travel expenses including airport transfers
Food and accommodation
Training materials and Certificate of Completion
