The capacity-building program, the first phase of a three-phase initiative, laid the foundation—exploring frameworks and analyzing models to map global and intercultural competencies within teacher education curricula.
The second phase will center on mentoring and research, while the third phase will culminate in institutional action planning to translate insights into sustained, system-wide strategies for Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) across Region I.

The program concluded with the awarding of certificates and a closing message delivered by Dr. Danilo B. Bose, Chief Education Program Specialist of CHED RO I, who encouraged the participants to transform their learnings into concrete institutional actions.
Participating institutions included Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University–South La Union Campus, Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College, Lyceum-Northwestern University, PSU–Bayambang Campus, Saint Louis College, Mariano Marcos State University, Panpacific University, University of Eastern Pangasinan, and Urdaneta City University.
