CHED RO1 awards stipends to TDP grantees in Urdaneta City
The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office I (CHED ROI), in partnership with Urdaneta City University, conducted the distribution of stipends to 347 Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) grantees funded under Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Tesoro Go in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan on December 26, 2024.
The program commenced with Atty. Dar A. Diga, who welcomed to the attedees, expressing the university’s steadfast support for initiatives that prioritize educational development.
Dr. Christine Nabor-Ferrer, Regional Director of CHED ROI, also underscored the critical role of education in shaping the future of grantees and emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder students from pursuing their academic aspirations.
Ms. Pia Talavera, representing the Medical and Education Assistance team from the Office of Senator Bong Go, shared some words of inspiration.
