CHED RO1 holds water safety, survival training for employees

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office I (CHED RO1) conducted a Water Safety and Survival Training for its employees on at PUGAD Adventure, Pugo, La Union on September 5, 2025.
This capacity-building activity aimed to enhance the participants’ knowledge and preparedness in water-related emergencies, featuring key topics such as Water Safety 101, Basic Survival Swimming, Rescue Techniques, First Aid and CPR, and a Simulation/Practical Test.
The training was facilitated by resource speakers from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Regional Office I, who provided expert instruction and hands-on demonstrations to ensure comprehensive learning.
Dr. Christine Nabor-Ferrer, Director IV of CHED RO1, opened the event through a welcome remarks while Mrs. Nympha N. Buenio, Chief Administrative Officer, delivered the closing remarks.
