𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗 𝗥𝗢𝟭 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝟭 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗣𝗢𝘀
Dr. Christine N. Ferrer, Director IV of CHEDRO1 signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Dir. Exequiel Ronie A. Guzman, Director, DOLE RO1 for the establishment of the Job Placement Offices (JPOs) for identified Higher Education Institutions (JPOs) during 2024 Regional Career Development Support Forum, at Hudor Resort, Paringao, Bauang, La Union on November 14, 2024.
Dr. Ferrer delivered a message of support where she expressed CHEDRO1’s commitment to streamline the processes for career development in the region.
“As manifested in our service pledge in the commission, we continuously innovate our programs and processes especially in developing mechanisms to continually innovate and enhance our operations, systems and procedures and enrich workforce to ensure quality service,” Dr. Ferrer emphasized.
The said MOA sought to establish JPOs in support of facilitating employment opportunities for Filipino workers and students through DOLE’s programs and partner agencies from both public and private institutions. Furthermore, the initiative aims to strengthen the Job Linkaging Network (JoLINs) services offered by TESDA training institutions.
The CHEDRO1 also joined the two-day dialogue on the implementation of the Career Development Support Program during the said forum where Mr. Arnold V. Ancheta, Education Supervisor II discussed the Regional Priority Courses.
The forum also highlighted the signing of multiple Memoranda of Agreement with over ten (10) TESDA Technology Institutions and Higher Education Institutions for the establishment of Job Placement Offices in Region 1.
