CHEDRO1 distributes stipends to TDP Grantees in Dagupan City
The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office I (CHEDRO I) awarded Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) stipends at Lyceum Northwestern University in Dagupan City, Pangasinan on December 27, 2024.
A total of 342 grantees, funded under the TDP initiative of Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Tesoro Go, received their stipends during the said distribution.
In a pre-recorded video message, CHED Chairperson J. Prospero E. De Vera III expressed his heartfelt congratulations and encouragement to the grantees, emphasizing the transformative power of education.
Similarly, Senator Bong Go extended his unwavering support through a video message, reaffirming his dedication to uplifting Filipino students and their families through educational opportunities.
The event commenced with a warm welcome message delivered by Ms. Ednalyn Alferos, Administrator of Lyceum Northwestern University, who expressed her gratitude for the program and its positive impact on the student community.
Additionally, Ms. Pia Talavera, representing the Medical and Education Assistance team from the Office of Senator Bong Go, shared an empowering message that resonated deeply with the grantees.
The program also included an enlightening introduction to Mental Health Awareness delivered by Ms. Paula Bermudez, also from Senator Bong Go’s office, underscoring the importance of mental health in achieving academic success and personal growth.
