CHEDRO1 graces DMMMSU's IZN partnerships

In great support for the internationalization initiatives of higher education institutions in the region, the CHED Regional Office 1 joined Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) in its Grand Opening Celebration for its internationalization projects, partnerships, and exchange programs at the DMMMSU International Convention Center in Bacnotan, La Union on November 5, 2024.
The opening celebration welcomed Batch 10 of the SEA Teacher Project, Erasmus+ Programme representatives, UKI students and faculty exchange participants, and officials from the Canada Catalyze Project.
Dr. Danilo B. Bose, Chief Education Program Specialist of CHEDRO1, represented Dr. Christine N. Ferrer, Director IV of CHEDRO1, and expressed his support for the internationalization efforts of DMMMSU and their importance in nurturing cultural diversity among HEIs and their partners.
“Cultural diversity in the international arena is important in fostering innovation, resilience, and cooperation among nations,” Dr. Bose emphasized.
The event was also graced by the administrators, internationalization staff, chancellors, deans, principals, faculty members, and students from DMMMSU.
Dr. Bose was accompanied by Ms. Ailene Flores, Project Technical Staff III for Internationalization of CHEDRO1.
