CHEDRO1 issues COPC for PSU BS Fisheries

The Pangasinan State University (PSU) – Binmaley Campus received the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its Bachelor of Science in Fisheries program at the CHED ROI Office, Sevilla, San Fernando City, La Union on January 10, 2025.
 
The COPC signifies that the program is fully compliant with CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 33, series of 2021, or the Policies, Standards, and Guidelines for the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries.
 
Prior to the issuance of the COPC, the Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) evaluated the program in the areas of administration, curriculum, faculty qualification, facilities, and other key components on November 8, 2024.
 
The fisheries program achieved a 96% passing rate for first-time takers in the recent Fisheries Technologist Licensure Examination and will pursue Level IV Accreditation from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACUP).
 
Dr. Marie Claire Briones, Campus Executive Director of PSU –Binmaley; Lemark M. Bautista, Dean of the College of Fisheries; and the college’s faculty members personally received the physical copy of the COPC from Dr. Christine N. Ferrer, CHED ROI Director IV.
