Training of Trainers on Life Skills Enhancement on Drug Abuse Prevention Education
In line with the commitment to connect higher education institutions with various partners for collaboration, CHEDRO1 invited Seemesol (formerly SeeMeCV) for an onsite information session with various HEI administrators at the ASEANA Hall, Golden Lion Hotel, Lingayen, Pangasinan, on October 22, 2024.
SeeMeSOL, Inc. is a private organization that provides HEIs with digital talent engagement solutions, including virtual fairs, career portals, mentorship programs, and career coaching.
Mr. David Padgett, Founder and President of SeeMeSOL, Inc., served as the resource speaker, discussing the various services offered by their organization. He highlighted the need for HEIs to track their graduates, particularly their employability rates in various industries.
Furthermore, Ms. Angel Dastjerdi, Head of Business Development at SeeMeSOL, demonstrated how to navigate their customizable website to the participants.
Dr. Christine N. Ferrer, Director IV of CHEDRO1, expressed how the information session is responsive specifically to Sustainable Development Goal 8—Decent Work and Economic Growth.
“Prioritizing the employability of graduates not only contributes to individual economic empowerment but also supports broader economic stability and social cohesion,” Dr. Ferrer said.
Six HEIs in the region also participated in the ceremonial signing with SeeMeSOL, Inc.
The event was attended by HEI Presidents, Vice Presidents, International Relations Officers, and Alumni Directors.
