The CHEDRO1 attends the Year-End Conference of the Association of HEI Registrars in Region 1
πππ£π£ππ‘ππ‘π π‘π’πͺοΈ±The Commission on Higher Education attends the Year-End Conference of the Association of HEI Registrars in Region 1 at Citylight Hotel in Baguio City.
With the theme: Collaboration and Innovation, The Registrar’s Role in Academic Integrity and Efficiency, the conference features discussions on the issues and concerns encountered by HEI registrars during the past year.
CHED representatives, Mr. Arnold Ancheta, Atty. Dessa Estrada, Ms. Dianne Montemayor, and Mr. Sheldonne Rosario attended the 1st day of the event, leading the discussions and facilitating the sharing of best practices among HEI registrars.
Among the topics discussed are Special Order processing, issuance of credentials, CAV processing, NSTP numbering, admission and transfer of students including foreign nationals, school calendar, prohibition of no permit, no exam policy, authorization letters, and privacy laws and regulations.
The Conference is an off-shoot activity of the Association’s Mid-Year Conference in May 2024 and is participated by 109 registrars and staff.
On the second day, the participants are set to conduct a bench-marking activity at the Saint Louis University in Baguio City.
